Today’s TAT topic is advice to new mommies! I…have no kids. But. I did read a bit of advice yesterday that I really really needed so I figured I’d share. This was in the Clickin' Moms newsletter yesterday:
It just kind of reminded me that we are all different. You need to be who you are as a person and not who someone else is. It has always taken me a long time to figure this out. I am constantly wondering why I can't do this or that when someone else can. Dance, Scrapbooking, Crafting, Blogging, Photography, basically anything. I know it's cliche but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You may see something small that someone else may have overlooked.
See what advice these awesome Moms have for new mommies over at Growing Up Geeky!
While roving the great *waste hours of my life* website that is Pinterest I found a lot of people who had bucket list boards. I was compelled to create my own. Find the start of my bucket list here. I'm sure I will be constantly adding to it.
Step 1) Mix bread crumbs with herbs & salt And in a seperate bowl, beat egg
2) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, Pound each chicken breast until it's approx. 1/4 inch thick
3) Dip each cutlet in the egg to coat and then place it in the bread crumbs making sure each side is evenly coated & place on baking sheet
4) Bake the cutlets until lightly browned, about 20 minutes
5) Pour sauce over top & sprinkle with cheese, bake until cheese is bubbly & golden brown, about 20 minutes longer
Today’s Toddle Along Tuesday topic is Must haves! I may not have a kid yet but I still have my own must haves! We got a Panini Maker as one of our wedding presents and have used it nearly weekly from there-in out. Grilled cheese, peanut butter & jelly panini’s, turkey panini’s, breakfast sandwiches, you name it. There are all kinds of fun recipes to try on it and I can never turn down a soup and sandwich. I also really enjoy not having to slather my grilled cheese with butter before cooking it! Quick & nutritious!
I haven’t tried this recipe yet but I’m looking forward to trying it found here!

Ingredients for cake:
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk (I ran out of milk so in reality I used 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup cinnabun coffee creamer...)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Ingredients for topping:
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Ingredients for glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 Tbsp. milk (I used cinnabun coffee creamer here as well)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Step 1) Mix ingredients for cake together, adding butter last.
2) Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan
3) Mix ingredients for topping, drop evenly over batter & swirl with knife
4) Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes
5) Add glaze & Yum!

So I saw this idea floating around pinterest and thought it was totally adorable!
All you need is a terra cotta planter & top, glass globe vase, small wooden handles, paint, & glue!
Step 1) Paint the terra cotta pieces & wooden handles
2) Glue the glass globe vase to the bottom of the planter & glue the handles on
3) Fill with candy! Yum! I can't wait to decorate it for valentine's day! Heart ribbon and filled with kisses! hehe!
So…I have an absolute obsession love for all things Disney. I have no idea what it is about it but I can’t get enough. Our wedding was Disney themed, we went to Paris on our honeymoon and I made sure we went to Disneyland Paris, and we’re planning a trip to California this spring…where do you think we’ll be stopping?? I will admit. I totally thought this would be just a phase…but I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon so when I stumbled upon this website thanks to pinterest it made me wish I could coordinate all my clothes to Disney characters. (I actually really love fashion contrary to what I actually wear...) If only I had a reason to wear all those cute dresses on a daily basis. Ha. Like I said…silly post.
