Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken!
This recipe is scrumptious! It’s a garlic brown sugar
chicken and the recipe was found on food.com. We paired it with some mashed potatoes,
corn, and alfredo pasta but there are so many side dishes that could go with
it. And the left over drippings is perfect to top the mashed potatoes with!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- additional herbs and spices, as desired
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 450, lightly coat an aluminum lined cookie sheet or baking dish with cooking spray.
2) Saute garlic and oil until tender, remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and whatever other herbs or spices you would like.
3) Place chicken on dish and coat with mixture adding salt and pepper to taste.
4) Bake uncovered for 15-30 minutes or until juices run clear (it depends on the thickness of your chicken).
5) Enjoy! :]

In like a Lion...
This weeks Wordless Wednesday is your March
calendar shot! I just love this Snow White fountain at Disneyland. March
reminds me of the very beginning of Spring and for some reason the greenery
here, the water, even Snow White reminds me of spring. Maybe it’s the
bunnies?!?

Be
sure to link up your Disney March Calendar shot over at Focused on the Magic
and check out the ones already linked up!

If You're Happy And You Know It...
Hello old blog! It’s been a while! But we have very exciting news around here...and a very good reason I’ve been M.I.A.!! As you all know we were expecting and were team green. Well, on January 22, 2013 God graced us with a little girl! She must have been very eager to come out because I was only 37 weeks and 3 days and they clocked my whole labor including pushing at 5 hours and 40 minutes. The 40 minutes was the pushing (blargh!).
Anyway, today I am linking up with Crazy Casa K to introduce someone that makes me happy. Our little girl. It is amazing how much your heart fills with love when you finally meet your child. Every time I look at her it’s like my heart melts. I never knew my heart could know such a love. It’s such a different love than any I’ve ever had. Our little family is perfect so far (…until we add the next little one!).
I’ll be working on a birth story soon and tomorrow I should have her first month post up! Crazy that she’s six weeks old tomorrow already! I’ve been working on a whole slew of new posts and trying to get them scheduled so be on the look out!
Come link up someone that makes you happy at Crazy Casa K!

What's your favorite way to get from Point A to Point B?
This weeks Wordless Wednesday is all about transportation! I feel like transportation is all over Disney and they do it so very well. Not only from getting you from Point A to Point B (railroad, magic express, monorail, etc.) but also transport you to a time, a place, a scene.
Anyone know where this last photo was taken?? One of Disneyland's transportation systems! Be sure to link up and share your transportation photos!

Okay so we are very behind on getting on our nursery together! Slowly but surely it is coming together. I wanted to share some of my favorite pins that have helped inspire some of what we're trying to do! I can't wait to be able to share our actual nursery! Hopefully soon enough!
What house projects are you trying to tackle and what is your inspiration??
